Vista and AOL?

Just bought a Vista laptop. It truly is an awesome bit of kit, but when I tried to install my AOL broadband, it wouldnt install the modem drivers
So I bought another wireless router today (belkin) and got the latest version of AOL (9.0 vr) and it wont work with that either. The shop I bought it from said AOL and Vista just dont get on!
Does anyone have AOL running on Vista, and if so, how?

Hmm, just configure the router manually..(providing it's an ADSL router) and then don't use that awful, awful software..

I had the same problem. Altho I am with Pipex Homecall, and I use a SpeedTouch 330 USB modem. The driver WONT install on Vista, resulting in myself restoring back to XP, until SpeedTouch come up with a proper VISTA driver...

well im with NTL (virgin) and i didnt install any software for my cable modem just plug it straight in a it found my connection

Your first problem is that you use AOL.

everyone gives so much bad rep to AOL but in my 2 years with them they have been perfect no problems at all great download speeds etc! but then again i use a router and not their software
