want a faster valver

my valver has from what i believe a sound engine in it having only dlone just over 70k on a K reg and having been lookid after by me and the last owner.

could anyone sujest ways of improving the lower down grunt of the car, im chuffed with its performance but cant help thinking that im missing some lower down the rev range and i know this is normal for valvers, would a chip help or perhaps a willy ECU???

Low down torque is something the Valver wont have..

The only way (I believe) to get the low down torque is to get a Williams engine in there..

well.....if u want more torque then get a 2.0 megane bottom end fitted instead of ur 1800, or just fit a willy lump!

i had my 1800 balanced, and a ktec manifold, and its a lot more torquey than before! also a chip would help! i dont have one at min just standard till someone offers to give me £500 for a unichip!

If you want low end torque, get a lightened fly wheel!, probably cheaper to get a 25bhp shot of nos
