Phill1978 Car MKIII 138 Mar 4, 2006 #4 kinda thought that but ive had my car MOT`d today and there is the arm which moves up and down and what looks like a hole for the rod }+ spring ?!? the guy said it was something i should look at and i passed my MOT but he put it on the advised list ? so your deffo sure it doesnt have one ? why is the arm still there, he said it would work still but not as effectivley without spring arm. any ideas ?

BenR Mar 5, 2006 #7 The cup has one, a mechanical one unlike the full fats. However it is not linked to the axle and is 'set' from the factory, in essence its not load sensing.
