Warranty query.

Ive had my Cup for about 6 weeks now and Ive only just got round to reading the warranty/services manual.

Im a bit worried because it says that in order "to benefit from the Renault New vehicle warranty, please:

-ensure that the service booklet contains the vehicles delivery date which is a condition for entitlement to the warranty."

My service book has a quality certificate stuck on the 2nd page with chassis no, ignition key no etc. but there is nothing printed in the bit for delivery date, model year and registration no. Is this just a case of the dealer forgetting to fill those bits in? The last thing I want is for them to say my warranty is void if I need to claim for something.

Dont worry mate, I have two Clios one bought at my current dealership and one from another. I have had warranty done on both cars at my current dealer and never had to prove anything regards delivery date / paper work. Your car should be listed in the Reno UK database (reg / VIN) which all franchisied dealers have access to. This should tell them every thing they need to know. The important thing is to get your service book stamped up as required to show dealer hstory.
