BTW Anybody know if currently you can view TVCatchup from abroad?

Not yet but apparently 19th December will see the restrictions removed for watching all FTA channels across Europe.

From the TVC Team:

As from December 19, the law will change within the EU and that will allow British people to watch their TV from wherever they are within the EU.
This works both ways so say our friend Stefano is in Luxembourg from December 19 he will be able to watch UK TV from his location and so will jaykay2 from Ireland.
