We’re all driving old womens cars!

I was on my way home from work last night and I saw a Monaco Blue 172 with a Cup spoiler on the back being driven by a woman in her 50s, then about 5 miles later I saw a Silver 172 being driven by a granny in her 70s - the colour of her car matched that of her hair!

Whats going on? Or are there just a load of cool oldies in Oxfordshire!!

  Shiny red R32

There are quite a few oldies around here with very cool cars. One old grey haired lady drives a silver Civic Type R, loads drive sporty little convertibles and a couple of Merc cabrios, a maroon TVR, a nice blue Scooby, a couple of 206 GTis and all sorts of other cars. The older people have more money to spend on these cars.

A couple of months ago I had an old granny do me off a round about in an EVO 7.

Should have seen the look on my face when I saw who was driving.

TBH the only people I see in my area driving the new shape Clios are housewives and grannys :(

I love it when that happens. My Mum got a Golf GTI when I was a kid - she was the coolest Mum in town!

my mum had a Gordini Turbo when I was a teen - instant street cred; depleted immediately when she swapped it for...an Orion.

Well,

I thaught I was the perfect son when I insured my dad on my cup to give him some much needed stress relief (my mother).

He is 60, and only found out he could do 60 in second when I was sat next to him egging him on. He says its too quick, and it hurts his neck when he floors it.
