Weird habdling problem

Have an old 172ff (52reg) which has started handling weird, particulalry round coners/bends. It feels like the backend is almost slipping away even when taking corners fairly slow? The tyres are newish (only a few months old), checked presure and they've been fitted correctly.

Could it be the suspension? Any other ideas?

Agree with Russ, as soon as I read the thread I thought "shocks are gone".

Yoink it up, take the rear wheels off and have a look around for leaking rear shocks. Not too expensive fella

yeah sounded exactly like mine. It was my shockers

Standard rear shocks are made from kitchen roll tubes held together with selotape. Get them replaced, or glue some coilovers under there

Mine was like this, changed the springs for Sportlines and its been fine ever since
