what camera ??

hi guys,

im going to but a new camera in the next 2 weeks and want a decent slr...

i fancy this one its has good write ups and looks a nice bit of kit.. (link below)

That's an excellent camera but seems a lot of money to spend if you know nothing about SLR's. I'd recomend something lower spec to start with, you will still get excellent results. Like;

D80 is excellent and the 18-70 lens is very good too.

Depends how serious you are about photography, a D40 or D60 might be better for you.

D80 + 18-70 would be a good start, I'd also recommend playing with a 30D which can be found for bargain second hand prices, see what one takes your liking ergonomically.

If your serious be prepared to splash out on some glass, not essential to make someone a good shooter but more reach etc could be needed.
