What case are you getting for your iPhone 5?

I put my Switcheasy see through case on yesterday. Looks good, can still see the design of the phone through it.

The downside is that is easy traps and displays dust etc from my pocket.

My Mediadevil matte screen protectors arrived today, fitted perfectly and every bit as good as the more expensive Power Support version I usually purchase.

My clear ones from Mediadevil are awesome, I wouldn't consider anything else.

Is there any difference really between a £8 screen protector and the cheapo ones on eBay? Surely there all about as thin as each other and made from the same material?

The best screen protector I've ever had was the zagg invisible sheild. I'd recommend one, it kept my iphone mint.

Thats what i have on my 5 now, scratched it on purpose and the next morning.. No scratch :o MAGIC! I like the feel of it pn the back aswell makes it feel rubbery and sticks in your hand better but can literally not see it

I'll compare screen clarity against the Power Support matte protector on my old iPhone 4S this weekend.

I've had a chance to compare the Power Support anti-glare to the Mediadevil and happy to say the Mediadevil is every bit as good despite the much lower price. If anything the Mediadevil matte protector is slightly clearer looking yet manages to mask fingerprints just as effectively. Very happy and well worth £8.

I've ordered one of these (along with screen protectors) as wanted something that covers the whole phone not just the back and bits of the sides.

And ordered one of these for my iPhone 4 as I'm wanting to use it in the car (satnav/RS Monitor/iPod etc) and thought this looked cool :

I thought that iPhone 5 case was the worst thing I'd ever seen to grace an iPhone, and then I clicked the second link. Both are repulsive.

I have to say I never new someone could be so 'repulsed' by a phone case to be honest!

Function over form personally as I don't much fancy scratching the f*ck out of an expensive phone, that's all I need. I don't take my phone out of my pocket and get a boner over how good looking it is! ;)

Not a bummer just a realist. I'm not against cases but when you make it look like an orthopaedic shoe, you should expect a bit of criticism.

Thing is a lot of these cases that as skinny and look tarty don't really offer that much protection for the phone which is what I'm after. I'm not prepared to pay for a phone off tariff if I break it so I'll stick it in a heavy duty case that still means it works but also means if it's in my bag it's not going to get scratched or smashed. :)

I can still make calls, surf the web and play Angry Birds just as easy with a fugly case! It was the dramatic wording that amused me most though.

Is there a case that gives all-round protection that isn't ridiculously bulky and industrial?! I don't want a pouch either because my blackberry fell out of its pouch and hit the deck! Holding it upside down FTL!

Not really, well not that I've found. They're either thin and sleek but offer little protection or bulky, not asthetically pleasing but mean a lot less likely to let your phone get broken.

Lol some boy.. Ah so you've got one on your 5, which one did you go for? I gave the Sena ultra-slim case I had on my 4/4S to the lady that bought the 4S, it was two years old and still looked like new.

Any news on when the speck candyshell will be available to buy within the UK?

My cheap Tesco case is great! Still just thinner than the 4 and I'm going to be happy for at least 6 months until I drop the thing
