what decent speakers for 172?

got an alpine mp3. did have a twin infinity sub set up in boot but grown out of it but miss my tunes!

wat speakers are good/full speakers that can just be swapped with standards and where is best place to get em?

what size are std 172 speakers?

just want to run em off the headunit nothin special but stds are a bit flappy.

Both speakers front and rear are 13cm (5.25").
I've got Alpine Type R's and they sound decent. Rainbows are also meant to be good.

have type r's, upgraded from infinity ones, now have alpine headunit and amp the speakers, best sound quality IMO, and most presume there is a sub somewhere in the car, the bass response is that good!

are alpine speakers any good? is it a doddle to fit comps in the standard holes or easier just to stick some coaxials in the doors?

Sound quality wont be nearly half as good with coaxils in. Go for comps - wee buns

best off going internet sites for cheapness, caraudiosecurity being the best, and if you cant fit them, which you damn well shoudl be able too then bring them over and ill do it for you.
