Yeah running costs are foremost in my mind tbh, hence why a car like the Alfa would be silly for me to buy.
Now I know that there's plenty of 330d's in my price range, I think they're looking like the main contender for my next motor.

Megane 225 in any form be it full fat, Cup or Trophy. Re-map it and you've got 265bhp for £400.

You'll get a mint one for £11-13k, if you get a full fat just get a set of springs for it and by all accounts it won't be far off the 225 Cup handling wise.

Yeah one of those "too good to be true" prices methinks.
I'm not keen on the audi cabriolet either - it's a bit a middle aged woman's car, if you know what I mean, plus I couldn't buy a cabriolet that's based on a hard top version with the roof removed. If I go down the cab route, it would be a Honda S2000.
