What do you like most about your clio sport?

  Clio 2.0l Sport '03
Hi guys i'm new to the site and new to renault. What is the biggest pro and con for you guys. On my 172 the pro's would definately be the sheer confidence and blitz ride you get from this responsive beast. The cons thusfar for me was getting used the un- userfriendlyness of the clutch. Especially in 1st. OK obviously i'm new to it but its not like its my first car. Anyway what do you guys say?:approve:

  fiesta zetec s mk5 / 182
the way people think its just a clio ie.1.2 and then realise its faster than there car when the lights go green

  '02 172 Cup
driving over roundabouts on stretches of dual carriage way! so the awesome handling. and power. and cheapness and effectiveness of the basic breathing mods (induction/decat)

the main con for me is the squeeks and rattles, but i have learnt to live with them!

  182
Pro: Cheap, fast, fun, handling, power, acceleration, looks.

Con: Cheap (loss of value and built quality not the best).

I dont give a stuff about the cons, as the Pros make it so very worth it.

my brother prefers driving my clio, to his '05 prodrived scooby. purely cause its more fun. and it gives lots of satisfying noises, while being very responsive.

LOL!

Pros: 5000rpm +; Handling; Looks; Bodywork; Leather and Alacantra Interior

Cons: Constant whistling; driving in the wet; bumpy roads

But out of the three cons I've listed only one is directly linked to the manufacture of the car, so therefore I dont give a s**t about them.

I love the way it looks, the handling, the noise it makes when you put your foot down, the fact that Im the only one in my area! I dont have any issues with squeaks or rattles. Nor does it feel cheap inside or badly built to me as I came from an N reg 1.2.

My favourite part of my 182 is parking up at night knowing I don't have to drive the piece of s**t again until the morning.

  Racing Blue FF182
performance and fun factor, practical. downside, however much you greese the bonnet latch you just never know lol

  850 T5. mmmm Turbo!
I love they way the airbags come out when i go over potholes and Renault customer services.

cons. its slower round bends than a 1.4 on gmax ebay springs.

I think you will all agree you don't buy a Renault to be reliable you buy it for the smile it puts on your face!!

Its just a hoot, cons are the build quality and some of the dubious engineering renault come out with (main candidate the gearbox).

Nothing wrong with it, it's just crap and cheap. Wish I'd gone for a S3 now.

I had the same option when I got the 182

I went for the 182 because I work in london all week and only drive evenings/weekends - so i'd have a 14k S3 sitting there gathering dusk

Plus I love my 182 and personally think its more fun to drive

:)
