what fuel do people use in their 182

  none :(
Does it really matter what fuel you use, ive read some people use v power, but can you just use normal pikey petrol (is it ron95 or something like that)

does using different petrol make that much difference.

Optimax/V Power from new, as to making any difference I don't know for that reason.

But as the fuel flap says it needs super that's what it gets ...

99 grade fuel, usually tescos. Mine tends to smoke when i boot it if im using anything else :rasp:

My expression says unleaded, so thats what it gets. :p

Clio's are mapped for 98RON so anything higher is pretty pointless unless it's been remapped for it.

i get better mpg on 95 ron, i used to use 99ron but heard some bad stories about it and its stupidly expensive for the ammount of miles i do

normal sainsburys derv ive run it on bt ultimate derv but i dont think i saw much diffrence

 but ive just reailsed its about 182s

I use v power, it just feels smother and as more lower down torque. When I was running it on 95ron I was getting something like 25mpg I get 30mpg with v power.

The Vee feels better on the more expensive stuff - so that's what it gets, and I do sod all miles anyway so it doesn't really matter heh.

98 ron on the flap i think refers to research octane number which is similar to 95 ron (road octane number) which is just standard unleaded.

read a thing somewhere that a lot of fuel companies deliberatly mix these two figures up to sell their "super fuels" apparently the 98 RON v power is the research figure not the road figure.

regardless of that i still use vpower it's only a couple quid more per tank

i siphon it from other clio's as we all know the clio "key" trick...

its cheaper that way...and gives you a right buzz...
