Got the chance to finish fitting a new battery tray today after I noticed mine had one of the mounts snapped off. It's made a noticeable difference the the gear change and power delivery seems sharper, it had been moving around a lot going by the wear mark's.

They can be a bit weak. Snapped mine clean in half at a track day a few years ago.

It was missing the one rear fixing entirely, I dont think it had been there for a long time, not even a bolt in the rail

That's a really good torque figure for a 1*2 isn't it? Mostly seeing around 160 ft lbs, 252nm is around 185?

Must drive well!

Peak power is really down the Revs compared to most

It drives really well. It will be compared to 4 other Clios and a bunch of 206 RC:s in the end of April when our series finally starts :)

I have no idea [emoji1787]

Yeah looks like the graph is shifted 1k lower, couldn’t work out why your peak power was only 5.5k. Because of how you calculate bhp from torque the graphs should cross at 5.2

Going to get this fitted and sorted and then get the thing built back up.

Finally got round to fitting the Spa Design oil gauge, seeing as there's nothing else to do in the current situation.

Originally planned to mount it in an A pillar pod, but had a quick look at the panel with the cruise and esp switches and thought 'it'll fit there'.

Just have to play with the settings now and change the display colour and stuff.

Stripped the rear interior out to check over and treat my sills again only this time with BH Hydrate 80 and S50. Pretty tidy for a once neglected 02 plate

This must be the most boring and time consuming job so far.. Makes a big difference though!

An hour and a half in:

Ah sorry, yes that is actually interesting info;) I'm using Gyeon Trim.

Washed with soapy water and APC, then Gyeon Prep and applying Trim with cotton buds.

Let us know how it holds up once it's been in use a while please, not sure what to use to tidy the grills when I get the car painted
Looks good though👍

Washed it and cleaned inside the door gaps. Gummi pflege'd all the door rubbers. Polished the miltek. Tried to clean the alloys but winter has ruined them. They are beyond saving and need refurbed. Noticed the rear heat shield is hanging off. The miltek is squint and someone has put a tie wrap on one of the hangers to try fix it, which hasn't worked.

I need to get some tar remover. Are they all much of a muchness?

Maybe some tyre cleaner too, because they are very grey and manky

Quick clean the started applying C4 to all the plastics, well annoyed to find another of my newly refurbed alloys has crazed so that's 2 out of 4!

Oh and as much as I love flame red I hate how much it fades! Anyone want to swap for an RB?

Looks lovely to me, rare to see flamers too so definitely a keeper!
That was the pretty side, its cosmetically a bit rough but I dont care anymore. Bit of bodywork one day maybe. Sills are good though!

Painted my rear calipers silver to match the fronts I did a few weeks back, bled them all again to try and get the slight spongey feel gone but I've still got a bit of travel before they bite which is annoying.

Discovered when I stripped the scuttle down to seal the leaking heater box I've either left the screen wash pump unplugged or something- no washy!
