Four new tyres on the M140i. Michelin's finest PS4. What a difference compared to Kumho's PS91...it's like rolling along on a bed of velvet!
Let's be honest, pretty obvious it would be..
Began a quick front caliper restoration, they're currently red which looks a bit ridiculous under turinis. So far one truley seized bleed nipple but nothing my new Mapp torch, plus gas and some whacking with hammer couldn't sort.

Is this piston good for the bin?View attachment 1456092
Yeah I chucked it mate, bore was fine thankfully probably because the piston had been so far out on low pads. That piston is scrap mate.
Check the bore of the caliper too as that could be scored, which will also be scrap if it is.
Where did you get a screen ? do you know of any others for a phase 1 172 ?Today we changed the windscreen and gave her a some nice green color .View attachment 1456767View attachment 1456768View attachment 1456769

No mate, literally just bought the car to bring it home[emoji24]Been for mapping?
Where is it??
Oh I knew I forgot something! I'm just preparing the car for it to be fitted. It looks like I need to remove the metal frame that supports the dash but its attached to steering column so didnt fancy messing with it today. (I have to put it all back together each time and drive it home). I also need to drive it to the place where the cage is being fitted. Stessed tbh.Where is it??
