What have you ordered? *Detailing*

Chappers, nice haul. I also love seeing AMD's "Tough Coat". makes me lol. Oh and I need to order some seal feed up. Love the stuff.

lol. Hate to break it to you but its only good for clumping long hairs together. Any smaller hairs stuck in the fabric are a b**ch to get out :(

Another tool to the arsenal though I suppose. :)

Thanks mate, really looking forward to trying the Swissvax goodies!

I asked Alan at AMDetails about the 'similarities' between Tough Coat and AMSeal.. He said they are going to be quite similar in makeup because of how they work, but he insisted that it's a different product.

Even if they were the same though, AMSeal is <£10 for 500ml, TC is >£20, so it would be a no-brainer for me.

It's the new product from AF. It's like a quick snow foam type product, spray on. It's pish

Yeah citrus power sorry. Wasn't impressed with it at all. Lifted some surface dirt but only around half of the dirt that was there.

Sorry. You must be confused. I ordered that stuff a while back and I've just received the snow foam. Got the other stuff a week or so ago

I must be doing something wrong. My method was

-gave the car a rinse
- sprayed on citrus power
- left it to dwell for a few minutes
- rinsed off

it did take off some of the dirt, but nowhere near what I expected

4" Black Hex-Logic pad
Lake Country Ultimate Applicator pad

Yeah I don't tend to use the pressure washer too often. I'll give it a bash using that

The only way it'll work tbh chap. And it's a wax safe pre cleaner, so (without being condescending) you need to have a waxed (protected with anything really) car for it to work well.

To give you an idea, left sprayed, right not, both jet washed;

That's on a car that (was :( Scrooge) sealed with c2v3 over tripple.

Ummmm... Yeah so picked up 2 and couldn't find anything else I wanted in Halfords 3 for 2 so just grabbed another :)

Keep an eye on the marring it can leave behind.

I'm generally quite careful with my CG one, but used it on an old discovery and didn't really pay too much attention. After waxing I thought the wax was leaving holograms, turned out to be the damage I inflicted.

Will keep an eye on it and keep it well lubed whilst using it, Just hoping it'll speed up things when trying to give a car a good going over in a day.

1l of Dragons Breath and Flyby 30 screen sealant kit.

Tackling old mans MX5 he's just purchased, not seen it yet so no idea what I'll be up against.

I was really impressed when I used it on the weekend. Silver car so not sure on the marring but it was very quick. Kept the panels absolutely soaked in a strong shampoo mix.
