What I hate about the 172 cup

  TTRS, 172 Cup track
That god awful looking steering wheel

Are there any nice looking aftermarket alternatives.

The interior sucks too, but gonna strip it and fit my recaro pole positions in it.

Also, is owering the 172 cup advised? It wont ruin the handling?

Sabelt wheel is a popular choice. I have 1 in my 182 and love it. Or having the standard one retrimmed, or any various other aftermarket that you like.

As above Sabelt is a popular choice, that's what I have fitted.

My 172 is lowered on H&R coilovers (set up properly) and handles better than standard.

The interior isn't the prettiest but I found the seats very supportive, having said that I have got aftermarket seats now.

I have some eibach prolines which improve the handling without losing the ride quality.

If your looking to improve the handling refresh the front ball joints, track rod ends and polybushes. Also a whiteline rear arb.
