what % of your monthly income do you spend on your Cliosport..?

Car  Italian 3.2 V6
i seem to spend around 50-60% lol... :( i cant wait until my 1st NCB comes thru plus i will be 21!! ins for me is the MAJOR killer!!

what about you guys!? are you as sad as me!?

Probably about 40%
Insurance is over £40 a week !!!
Fuel is similar :(

I'm hoping come renewal in December when I have 3ncb and I'll be 20 it will drop drastically...

3-4% thats fuel only. Obviously there is tax/insurance and servicing but they are one off payments...

zero.

only cost is tax and insurance so under £600 on that lot a year.

fuel is just given.

Insurance is circa £40 a month, fuel probably about the same so £80 a month all in.

Tax/Mot etc are lump sum payments.

So, out of my monthly income, it equates to about 5% I guess.

Can we not go there? Ill start crying.

£££'s basically because ive got a "one-nine twenty-five-mile-to-the-gallon seven"!

lol tbh im not bothered, i love it.

I've worked out if I get one it would be circa 40% of my base salary before overtime etc. I have no other sicnificant outgoings so that isn't too bad tbh. Thats insurance, tax and petrol (probably an over estimate too works out 925 miles @ 35mpg and I normally do about 680).

quite abit for me insurance is £170 a month and use about £200 a month petrol also in the process ov buying few mods dont no what to get first tho

Loan & Fuel = 20%

Had to buy a few bits lately like new steering wheel, splitter etc, also been bitten by the detailing bug so that figure is likely to rise!

Well i hope to come Down to about 35% as soon as this dec arrives plus I'm due a payrise asap LOL.. My current 50-60% is on fuel £150-200, loan £150 and ins £250!!!!!!

I would love to be in the ppls shoes of 10% LOL but I spose that comes with age lol!! Don't know how u guys above 70% survive!! :(

You'll notice the insurance come down more once you hit 25 tbh. I think I got my 1.6 16v Clio when I was 21 (having just past my test) & that was setting me back at least £168 a month.

Now, I am 26 and own a crappy 1.4 lol & I only pay around £400 an odd pounds Fully Comp. Which is nice, knowing that I now am unemployed and can just about make ends meet. So for that reason, I must be only 20% - 30%.

Fuel cost per month for me is about £200, 14.8% of my wages....lol

I pay tax and insurance annually, but monthly it would work out to be about £70 or 5%

Then, for example in the last year, I have spent at least £2000 on mod parts, new alloys, tyres, brakes, exhaust parts, then cosmetic costs i.e. vinyl, car spray paint, trim pannels, wingmirror covers blah blah, that works out to be about 12% of my wage a month (averaged).....

My MOT passed with no work this year so that practically equates to nothing over a year......

Thats 31.8% of my monthly salary........eeeek!

Nuttin really, paid last loan repayment last month so better off actually, lol

+10% flol
