What Paint to use on engine?

As per title, Have a 172 and looking to paint inlet manifold around the badge (engraving....whatever the right word is?) What is the best paint to use? does it have to be heat resistant?? I've seen pics where people have painted the background on the manifold and chromed/polished the writing and looks sweet.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

hammerite paint/the stuff you do brake calipers with shud be fine, as they are deisgned to withstand muchos heat.

go to a specialist paint shop and get a cellulose based paint in the colour of your choice , dont forget the undercoat
