What the hell is that?

Hi, was having a good look around my car today for speaker wire in the rear. I lifted up the rear seat (behind the driver) to find all the wires going into a black rubber thing. What is that?

if your tank is at the back i suspect it is the fuel pump and feeder cables?

yep. feed into fuel tank for fuel guage etc

yep cover pop's off and the fuel pumps under there.
