@Stu. and I took a trip from Dunfermline over to Aberfeldy yesterday.

First lengthy drive in the Clio since I've had it back on the road, managed to put around 260 miles on it around 120 of that was tiring motorway the rest was some great winding roads through the Scottish landscape.

Stopped just outside Aberfeldy for a break and snapped some pics.

The ph1 slightly less comfort than mine and no power steering.

Fuel stop in Aberfeldy:

On the way back I managed to pop a nearly brand new rainsport, luckily had a full spare and toolkit.. unfortunately the jack had other ideas.

Fairly happy with how both cars performed! only problems where my own driver error.

In comparison, my ph2 is definitely the more road going vehicle. the ph1 with little weight in it has the initial pull although the ph2 having 197 cams feels slightly quicker on the straights. Brakes wise, I was following Stu all day in his ph1. He's running PBS pads up front and no ABS with an adjustable bias. I can safely say it out stops mine on OEM discs and DS2500 pads. On the harder braking I can feel the stopping distance is far longer on my set up.

Had a cracking time out! looking forward to exploring the North of Scotland once we are aloud to plan a more lengthy trip.
