whats going on with 172 182 prices

hi guys

what the f**k is going on with these car prices

when i sold my 172 a bout 6 months ago they were all gong for about £5500 to £6000 then about a month ago they were up for around 7k with not that low miles.

now i am selling my 182 with only 24000 miles for £7499 which i think is giving it away as its so mint its like new and have not had one pm i even put i am open to offers

There still all over the place,theres as much as 1500 quid difference on any sport model in each year

There doesn't seem to be any set price, as I have mine up for sale, I have gone slightly above middle of the road, but ph2 172's are ranging from £4500 to £7500 and 182's £6000 to £9500.

It's crazy. I'd say personally your car is underpriced if anything!! If I sold my 172 this week I would snap it up.

Very odd. I paid £8K for my 182 Cup with 17K on the clock. Like yours, immaculate. I presume it's advertised on Pistonheads also?

The prices on this site are crazy in my opinion! Your 182 is worth at least 8k if it's as tidy as your saying, but when people see cheaper cars they go for those instead.

I stuck to my guns when I sold my Trophy last year, it may take a bit longer to sell, but at least I didn't have to give it away!

and then after xmas no-one has any money, and then in march/april they're saving for holidays.

So you should be able to sell it in feb!

Spot on. On this site unless your giving it away its too dear. That 182 is EASY worth 8-8.5 k in my eyes.

i am now starting to look for one brillient for a buyers prospective 182's are as low as 6500 on piston heads at the min i am looking around 7k think i should be able to pick up a nice one for that , whats best things to look for on test drives etc

Maybe, and it might be a bit harsh to start bashing prices down inside the club, but 182 is just another french car in most people's opinion.

My mate just bought 182 (05 cup) for £6400. No bad eh. Think it was on 40k miles. He was also just about to buy an arctic blue (cup packs again) for 7k. So yes, either the demand isn't there, or people simply will NOT pay up for them.

very true they dont seem to sell on this site that easy

it is on pistonheads so will try hold out or keep it a bit longer

i think its a bit of both not many people buying so people are putting prices down ,which other people are going to have to do or they aint going to sell there motors , think they are cracking cars for the money

i paid 8k for my 04 182 with 25k,it was £9,900 along side a cup for £9,900.

I was looking at the weekend at 182's and 2 local dealers had almost identical cars.

Glod black trophy wheels etc.

One was £9,500 Renault dealer 12k on clock cup suspention etc one was £8,500 ford dealer ~£17k on clock both 55 plates.

What with the R27 at £14k im too tempted by one of them.
