Whats needed when changing mk2 ph2 lights

when changin lights from a ph2 mk2 to a ph1 mk2 do the wires need putting in a different order.

I ask this becuase I sold my LED lights on ebay and the guy who bought them said they didnt work n he has a ph1 n i hve a ph2 n he seems to have connected the wires in the wrong order. i figuered out the correct way they went and are back to normal im just confused.. HELP

From what I heard the wiring does need altering to work with ph1
