Wheel Alignment

  Skoda Fabia vRS

went to Demon Tweeks today to have my wheel alignment done, the kit they have there is wicked, a laser box thing on each wheel hooked up to a computer

i had 10degree toe in when i went in !.........its now corrected to 1degree....

the car feels a lot better, generally more together on the road....definitely worth doin....

it was £35.....money well spent IMO...

i dont think ill ever go anywhere else for wheel alignment....

it should be setup whenever you lower the car, or put different wheels on, or if you regularly thrash it round cobble streets hehe

it just needs doin from time to time....

yup, after fiddlign with any suspension....get it done.

And if each wheel on your car points the wrong way, GET IT DONE! lol

If you car doesnt run true, get it done....loads of reasons!

I had swivel hubs off to fit new bearings, much quiter with no play, quite happy, but should I get tracking done now since had front suspension in bits as it feels a bit dead round the straight ahead position, or have I just answered the question myself

lol....get it checked anyway. Most places offer a free check, but you need to pay for the re-alignment

I had to use one of those last week. cos no other garage could get the equipment on top of my wheel cos of being too low. Right piece of kit. Was only £20 though, and I got a printout with before and after details!

Actual cost was £19.80. BARGAIN!!!!! LOL. Think that thing cost more than the rest of the garage though, bit of a dump.

Steering will feel a whole lot lighter (if you dont have power steering like poor old me), and itll stop yer tyres wearing loads!

Ive lowered the car, and when I get it done soon, should I get it checked again when I put new shocks on?

Where is Demon Tweeks anyway?
