Wheel bearing gone in less than 10k

Title says it all really. Had the passenger side front done less than a year ago, im starting to hear knockin and there seems to be play in it. Is it possible that the bearings were defective?

I chewed one up in 5k, thats 5k of road miles too

I've seen some abismal copy cat bearings which were worn before fitment so it woulnd't suprise me if its a copy cat part.

thanks, its just been road usage so im gona have to dig out the receipt and see what brand they put on. do genuine parts have a stamp or somethin on them?

Nope not from memory.

A none Renault garage is unlikly to use proper partsinfact since its failed so soon its 99.9999995 likly to be a copy cat part.
