ok, so when going left the droning stops, when going right it increases slightly in noise.

simple question, which side do you think it is?

hmmm seems strange, i got the front nearside, changed it and it still does it. but when you drive along it sounds like its coming from the front offside?

strange things bearings, what makes you say its the left rear Fred?

its the most common in my experience, the left hand side of the car takes more load over its life span (ie roundabouts)

if it gets louder when turning right it will be the left side
