wheel bearing?????

any one else had this
basically when i get to just under 40mph i get this droning noise from the front
ive had a passenger say its my nsf but from where im sitiing i cant tell
trouble is after 40mph it seems to dissappear
any body else had this

jack it up and spin the wheel by hand, this will help identify which it is.

Sam, if you jack it up and spin it by hand will you hear it droan?? I think I have the same issue as the OP.

Most of the time you can hear you a 'knackered bearing' noise. Give the wheel a wobble to. Its not the be all and end all of a knackered bearing simply a detection method.

ive had bearings go before its just that it dissappears after 40 mph
also noise comes back at about 80 mph then goes again
sounds exactly like a wheel bearing gone
