wheel bearings

  fat 182
it in the dealers on tueday to have the rocker cover gasket changed the week before warrenty runs out theres no harm in asking .if you dont ask you dont get.

you would expect the rear bearings to last longer than 3 years and 36k
the discs are in good condistion aswell

  Ford Puma
Front wheel bearings are more likely to go as there's more load onthem due to the steering engine/gearbox etc etc.

Rear wheel bearings should not go. I don't think i have ever changed a rear wheel bearing on any of my cars.

You can only but ask, worse case scenario is they say no :)

easy enough to do it yourself, got my bearing for 24 squid from PMF in Kidsgrove, altho if you leave it too long after you know it's gone, best getting a press to get the old one out, mine stunk big time lol

If you have to pay yourself...Europarts sell them for £14 each.
Think they could have been a bit cheaper from gsf though.

The only bearing ever IMo to buy are Renault official ones.

Not to mention any compnaies names but I recoently had some boxed up brand new fromt a certain big names motorfactory brearings and they were more worn then the ones I was changing.

why should rears never go? they go all the time..... especially on clios.

The rears are more likely to go on clios due to the "stress" they take when turning corners, I read that somewhere, no idea whether thats the reason lol
