Wheel Bearings...

The evil whirring of a knackered front wheel bearing has raised its head so ive been pricing up wheel bearings and lower ball joints, gonna do each side at the same time so its all fine and dandy for the coming years :D

Basically ive priced up the following:

Reno : £46 (Bearing) and £10 (Ball Joint)

EuroCarParts : £25 (Bearing) and £10 (Ball Joint)

Halfords : £36 (Bearing) and £16 (Ball Joint - doubt it )

The question is do i just get some cheap bearings from eurocarparts or fork out for renos origonal ones... theres not a lot in it but me guess is there all guaranteed for just 1 year so is it worth forking out

Comments plz... P.S if any1 working at a reno dealers can PM me plz as i need some advice regarding summit, cheers :D

There basically the same ones as Bearings are manufactured mainly by 2 japanese companies!......99% of the car manufactures use these bearings.

How do I know? I was working with a Dr in Cranfield whos working for one of them.

Reno: £ + masssive profit

Europarts: Price + small profit

Halfords: Price + medium profit

if you haven,t poly bushed then its possibly worth changing the complete wishbone as its only twenty quid more and the bushes are prob shot

had a look £60 on the 16v/williams but no quote for the RTs but im sure they will do it ne way

could my wheel actually fall off coz it is quite bad?
