Wheel Fitment (7.5x16?)

been looking for some new wheels, and have come across some that i like. just wondering if anyone knew if they'd fit.

basically they're PCD 4x100, and ET 36 which seems alright

only problem is the fact the narrowest i can get them in is a 7.5x16''

baring in mind i'm on coilovers do you reckon i could get them to fit. possibly losing the arch liners?

I think you can fit them, tbh i would get an offset of 40 though just to make sure they go under the arch. Vince

ah cool. iv sound some similar ones in a 15'' which are a perfect fit, so might have to consider them instead.

you can't run an ET40 on coilovers unless you use spacers (relating to Middo's car)

not enough sadly. but thats why i got a student loan

compomotive do some in almost an identical style, but are 3 piece instead of 2. as such they cost a bit more, but do come in any fitment in a 15''. they also do some mint colours for the centre section.

What about some nice light rota slipstreams? would et45 be ok on non sport models?

nope, not when using FK's (unless you used a 10-12mm spacer)

ok people, im really perplexed now and all the talk off offsets has made my mind go dizzy.
4x100 Et27 15 x 7.5 would they fit???

im seriously tempted to just buy the wheels i want and butcher the car to make them fit

i've roughly measured and im pretty sure i might be ok with a bit of grinding whats the best way to make more room in your arches? obviously gonna remove arch liners, and prob gonna need to roll the arches is tehre anything else i can do?

when i measured it looked like it would be 'just' thereabouts, but popped down the bodyshop to see if he could do me some euro style flared arches and got quoted an absolutely joke of a price

well i run a 17x7 et37 wheel with a 5mm spacer on the front (so ET32 in reality)

so you'll be going another 5mm further out than me

f**k a duck that'll look MEAN AS HELL

i measured and its right on the edge, so could get away with arches rolled. thing is i dont want to agree to buy the wheels as it could be 800quid thrown away lol

and its going to look mental

ok just done some calculations

from the offset centre line on my wheels i have 121mm width of wheel going in towards the car (and 3-5mm clearance between tyre and coilover)

i have 57mm sticking out from the hub centre line

on a 7.5inch wheel with ET27 offset you'll have 120.25mm going inwards (good!)

with a 7.5 inch ET27 you'll have 70.25mm poking out

so an extra 13.25mm sticking out the arch


BUT with a skinny 195/45 streched over the wheel it'll work
