Wheel sealant on exhaust ???

I've just picked up a new exhaust yesterday and was wondering before i fit it, is it worth sticking some wheel sealant or wax or something on it to protect it. Has anone done any of the above or am i just wasting my time as it's stainless steel ???

Wasting your time, stainless steel isn't going to rust, it'll just tarnish.

id put a thin layer of autosol i used it on mine, dus help prevent it tarnishing

Wont it just burn off?

Just give it a little polish once a year if you want it to look shiny lol

It's worth it if you're just putting it on the exhaust tips. Much easier to keep them clean.
