Wheels

Gents,
My wheels are away being refurb'd and will be back next Saturday. Luckily the missus is away Saturday, so I'll have time to clean and protect on arrival home.

I need;
- new wheel brush/es - the brakes make it difficult to get to the backs on one location per wheel so need a larger and smaller brush... wheel woolies, EZ Large and Mini, Daytona Large and Mini...
- a spray on protectant - immediately jumped to Hydro2 here (@Daniel)... anything else to consider like Gyeon etc?

Ta.

I applied Gyeon Rim to my fiesta wheel. Two coats actually, left for 24hrs etc. I'm not overly thrilled about it compared to Dlux. It did apply very nicely.

  Mini GP2
I use one of these to clean inside the wheels and the brake calipers etc....

But to clean behind the spokes i find a microfiber wash mitt does the job perfectly although this may depend on the clearance you have between the caliper and the spoke(s).

As for a sealant, i haven't used it myself but a lot seem to rate Gtechniq ( i think its the C2V3 product) but sure someone will confirm if this is correct or not. What wheel cleaner are you using at the min ? I can recommend Valet Pro Bilburry, 1L for £9 if you're thinking of buying a wheel cleaner too.

Sorry, forgot to mention that this is a wheels on job until I can get them off back at home in December. Or at yours lol.

No clearance, Adam. I have the EZ but this doesn't fit, hence the question about the mini, chap. And once sealed I only use warm water/shampoo.

More than welcome to do it at the unit dude, you'll be spending a fortune on hydro trying to keep them protected until December lpl
