When did the 182 come out

I am looking for a 182 Cup. When did the start being made/sold in the UK? Whats the sort of price I should expect to pay for an early one privately? Where there any teething probs on the early ones?

only been avaiable for the last couple of months.
you will get a much better deal on a 182 with both cup packs for a much better price.
try ebay there are a couple on there.
the spec on a standard 182 is much better than a cup.
no difference in performance and less luxuries on the cup.
great car you will love it

thanks guys, just looked on ebay seen an black one in the UK and blue one in Jersey. They dont mention the cup packs though. Can one tell by looking?

Hi, welcome.

If you look at the front of the car.... And there are two things sticking out (headlight washers), then its a full fat 182. The full fat has leather/zenons/climate control.

A 182 "cup" (ie slightly stripped out) would have black blanking plates instead of washer jets. The 182 Cup doesnt have leather/zenons/climate.

As for the "cup" suspension pack:
If the wheels are dark in colour (ie not silver), then it has the Cup suspension pack.

The "cup" spoiler pack:
Look at the front bumper. The lowest part of the bumper should be a plastic strip (splitter). That said, they sometimes fall off.

Heres another way of telling: The rear spoiler contains a built in brake light. If when not lit, it appears to be smoked in appearance, as opposed to being red, then it doesnt have a Cup spoiler pack. If it looks red, then its got a Cup spoiler pack.
