Which 197 parts will fit on the 172/182?

Once the new clio has been out for a couple of years, what parts do you reckon people will be swapping onto older 172/182s?
Entire engine/box?
Inlet manifold?
Someone probably knows already what's going to fit and whats not...

Im hoping the new 6 speed box will fit and do a better than than the original 172/182, but only time will tell.

Iirc correctly the new gearbox is similar in size to the megane therefore won't fit the 172/182.
Until the car comes out,anyone's guess what will fit really.
Hope the side vents can be modded onto the 182...anyone fancy doing a PS for me?

Engine bits ie head plebham intake manifold etc should be a stright swop but won't be worth it with the intake mods availiable now for less.
Suspension wont fit
The engine block is the new 8 series turbo block with different mounts and the lctch match is different as the new clutch is bigger from the ML1 box.
The box won't fit as the clutch is bigger you can use the 197 engine and rest of the wiring should match it though and you need custom mounts you'd need the stock ECU remapped though.
ECU will probably be the same but since its only mapping it doesn't matter.
Rear axle might be the same but thats no upgrade.
Front brakes might fit you'dd need brackets made up though to make them fit like any aftermarket 4 pots.
Dash and seats might fit with modifying
Vent won't fit and look right the 197 has wide front wings.

After seeing quite a few new clios on the road, I have to say they look pretty mean, and the back end has grown on me. I know that by the time the new RS comes out a lot of people would have warmed to the new shape and will not hesitate in buying one.

I think they look pretty hot, that front end looks really wide and agressive.

Would be interested in the brembos!

chassis is the micra platform the RS has a differnet rear beam and front suspension set up from the micra and clio 3
