But part of what Akiro is saying is correct - the human ear isn't very sensitive to low frequencies, so an oval woofer isn't such a major setback when your just after a bit of rear fill. It wouldn't be clean or crisp enough for most afficianados, but for a car audio pleb like me it's just fine. I can't imagine what having those little tweeters stuck above the woofer must do to the waves. lol.
I keep my quality audio equipment in my house. I can't imagine a much worse place to try and create a quality sound than in a metal box!!
