I wouldnt be tempted to wash it with a pressure wash it mate, as you obviously know even the slightest spray through the grill and onto an electrical component could be an expensive fix..

Id stick with the hose!

iv always used a p washer just my last one is old n broke never had any problems

cheapest one will probs do the job fine, your not actually cleaning the car with it are you ? just rinsing and loosening thick dirt ?
