Radical SR3
I've just got hold of a set of KW V2s to replace the fine, but not so great on track KTR coilovers. The KW's come with pillow ball top mounts that use an o ring to hold them in place. The problem I see is that the housing for the top mounts doesn't fit flush with the strut housing space on the car so there 'could' be movement around 2-3mm.
The KTR's I bought a set of the Comprace pillow ball tops. These fit snuggly into the strut housing space with no room for play.
My question is, are the KW top mounts better/as good as the Comprace? or should I fit the Comps to the KWs...I'd have thought the KW tops would be decent items whereas the Comprace are cheaper so may be inferior in bearing design?
Any thoughts?
