white dust on my wheel?

:S yesterday i noticed when i go to college my back right wheel was covered in like white powder around the side of the wheel ( not where the tread is ) it was covered like when you curb your alloys but all around the wheel. The weather was perfectly fine that day and when i got home i noticed the same.

today i drove to college and it was white again and i went back to look at it 2 hours later, still white. any reason why?

Lol^. Have you had new tyres recently as the use a white powderry stuff to fit them onto the tyres. Cannot remember what its called.

I noticed the wheels got like some earthquake looking creases on the tyre also its not new

Sounds worrying, Id get them checked, you dont wanna blow out at 75mph.
