Whiteline arb L brackets alternative

I have an arb but no L piece that goes from the beam to the arb.

Does anyone happen to know what may be a suitable replacement? Or even dimensions so that I can look in my local automotive factors for something like it.

Thickness of the metal is around 3-4mm

Was about as accurate as I could get as it was pi$$ing it down.

B and q don't have anything decent in all too thin and not long enough!

Go to a a scrap yard and get an off cut of something, can't be hard to find something

Ideal time to think up something better, I think that bracket (although it works) is the piece that lets the whiteline down.

I've measured the thickness and width.
5mm thick and 1.5 inch wide.

The oe way they corrode and when you come to undo the two nuts that lock together the whole threaded bar twists or snaps. I was going to use two rose joints and bend the torsion bar out to meet the bottom of the shock more, then use a longer bottom shock bolt, but decided against it as I didn't want to upset the T bar.

Went for a drive to wickes and B and Q and they didn't have any decent angle iron that I could use! All so short. Took a blurry as tits photo though

I then went to my local automotive shop up the road this place is an absolute godsend @bashracing will no doubt agree!! I found this from towing a caravan or something? No idea

I then marked where I needed to cut thanks to @1812lsd giving me a drawing from his brackets And all done, not the neatest job in the world but jesus it's stiff!!

Am I right in saying that when on the hardest setting the L brackets I've made should be at a bit of an angle? The top part facing towards the back of the car?

They shouldn't be straight up

Im looking at getting a ARB .. how do you get it up for the hardest / softer settings?
