Im possibly trying to be too fussy to be honest, max £3000 dont mind travelling but hate the dissappointment when you get there and it looked so much better in the photos. that one in the first link above has been around for ages which puts me off

I had the same problem years ago when I was looking for an RS Turbo (Fiesta). Staggering how some owners describe a vehicle as "in mint condition" when quite clearly on inspection they are complete dogs.

Got one, Phase 1 in iceberg (one of 99?) 43K in mint condition except for a tiny dent on the drivers side rear quarter. Everything else is so clean, cambelt done at renault inc serice for a staggering £960.
