Will 172 cup springs fit on a 197?

Had a 172 cup for 3 years until 2006. Early on in its life (when it had done about 5k miles I think) I changed the springs to Eibach sportlines and put the original cup springs in the garage. I've now returned to Clio ownership (after a 156 GTA and a Twingo GT) and have a non-cupped 197 which I'd like to firm up a little, so...are the old cup springs an option?

potential physical differences aside, didn't the new clio eat a few pies? like 300kg of them? So if it did fit, it'd be too soft

Mork - yep, it sure did, but nearer 220kgs than 300 I think. That's still two 16 stone blokes sat in the back though...
