Not sure what section to put this in, so pls move if req'd.

If I had a valver and I wanted to fit a widetrack off a williams, would it not do the same job if I just fitted spacers??

Or am I missing the point??? :o

I have a valver and was looking at a wide track conversion or spacers etc.

Spacers will help but they still will not be as good as a full conversion as the williams conversion gived you 'beefy wider' anti roll bars and also different geomtry inculding the suspension struts. Its not all about the wider track its the geomtry and diff shocks etc.

Spacers are a viable option and will improve stability but will put extra stress on bearings and bushings.

Furthermore the best conversion you could do is: williams wide track, clio 172 hubs calipers and disc's with williams H & R coil overs.
