willy/16v engine

  308, Fusion

would a willy engine or 16v fit into the bay of a 1.4? how much work would need to be done? like uprating the discs etc?? also wat prices?

you would really need a donor car to get all the bits of first, would end up costing more then just buying a valver or willy?

what about getting a willy that was in a crash tht is repairable, to get it back on the road? would that be a better idea?

Hillpower is currently fitting a 16v engine into an RSI and there are still lots of things needed for that model.

I think you can swap the whole front subframe from a 16v? as long as you have valver arches?

The 16v rear beam doesnt fit a non 16v rear arched car though, so the handling wont be quite as good as a valver.

You dont need the 16v arches as the RT has the same width of track as a 16v. Shouldnt need the 16v subframe either...just get the 16v hub carriers, 16v shocks and springs to get a suspension setup that can cope...
