Wiring in FIA Battery Cut off Switch

I'm just after a little bit of help with wiring in my battery cut off switch as mine came with no instructions.

So are these forks for the Alternator wiring?

And does it matter which way round you mount the battery. So either battery on the left and car electrics on the right or might it have to go the other way? It it just a case of just attach the cables and if it doesnt work then put them the other way!

And what is this for again?

it wont matter which way round you connect the battery and car electrics

the small contacts on the back are probably some extra auxiliary contacts

couldn't tell you what the 11watt 3.3 ohm resistor is for.
