wiring Ipod to original stereo ph2 172

Is it possible to wire an ipod into the original clio headunit? 2002 model. If i pop out the stereo is there an auxillary port. Or is there a way to convert the wires for the cd changer into an ipod connection? A longshot but worth asking if anyones done it. Thanks in advance.

You can get a connects2 kit to do this- best option is to pm Matt (MTAudio), you can get with an aux, or iPod connection which will give you 5v charge

Just sorted it myself. Bought a kit of eBay for £29.99. It plugs into the rear of the stereo and tricks it into thinking it had a cd changer. It connects to your iPod/iphone or anything with a standard headphone socket and I'm very impressed with the sound quality.

thanks for the replies exactly what im after. Matt is on here im guessing yes? nobafett do you have a link for this?

If it is the Connects2, the forward reverse track will work and the button underneath the audio 'stalk' will change it to the next playlist (up to 6 playlists...like 6CDs).

Just make sure its the right connection as we have 2 in our household...the one on my 182 didn't charge as it was 12v....the newer Ipods are 5v. Had to buy an adaptor to lower voltage in order to charge the device.

cheers Don just got my kit today it is the Connects2 and if it does as you say ill be very pleased. Cheers for your help everyone.
