Wiring speakers problem.

  Tango'd PB 1.2 16V
My mate asked me to wire his 6x9s up to the headunit.
And he doesn't have a wiring diagram, and neither do i.
I was gonna go through the rear speaker wire, and fit a splitter but his car didn't have rear speakers. (a fat s**t sold em apparently)
What i found wierder was that there wasn't any wire going around there either.
It was still plugged into the headunit, but i couldn't find where it went.
When i took the door card off, there was just the wiring that goes to the rear lights and that stuff, but no speaker wiring.
Does anybody have a wiring diagram?
And advice for me?
Cheers.

If the car wasn't fitted with rear speakers from the factory then there will be no loom (Cost saving) . You will have to run new wire to them. Make sure you get the polarity right as well.

It was fitted with standards, which were replaced with kenwood ones, which the lad then sold.
But there isn't any wire there, however, there is wire into the speaker block that goes into the head unit.
1,2 and 7,8 iirc.
I just don't know where the wire comes out to because it aint where it should be.

Previous owner has chopped the wires somewhere, so whats the problem with running a wire from the rear speakers to the head unit and Skotch Lok to the head unit rear speaker output?
