wiring up a sub and amp in my mates clio!

hey all, this is my first post on this forum! i dont own a clio myself although id love a clio sport! Anyway the thing is, my couzins got a clio 1.2 16v i think its something like an 02 plate! he wants me to wire him up a sub and amp, ive got everything i need just not sure how to do it! i did my old corsa and my saxo easily but i know all cars are different so was just wondering whats the best way to get the wires from the front to the boot and the battery wire from battery to boot hiding it the best i can! a step by step or diagrams would be very much appreciated! cheers Jay

If uv done it before u shouldnt find it that hard, its simple once uv done it once. yeh every cars different but its all the same principle.

where is a good place to put the earth/ground wire to? Also i want to run my wires down the passenger side hiden away along the inside of the door sill, does the plastic trim along there just unclip or something or are there screws?

no screws, just pull the handle for the bonnet release straight off towards the centre console and then remove the weather strip from round the passenger door and it will unclip all the way along with ease

Run the earth seperate from the RCA's and remote and its known to cause disruption to the install

Earth can be boulted easely behind the backseats. Take off that plastic thingie and unscrew the bar.

I ran the power on the left side of the car, RCA's (3) and remote on the right side and the cable for the speakers down the middle.

which gromit am i best running the red battery wire through, theres a small one with a single wire already running through it and a big one with two thick tubes goin through it! Also cant i just run all wires down the left hand side of the car?

You looking at the grommets in the passenger footwell... if so then either one will do as long as they go into the engine bay.

You could run them all down the left hand side if you wanted to but it is known to cause crackling and drisruption to the sound.
