wot does this prove...

had my first service in my 182 today...



Guy was supprised that my brakes were only 20% worn and my tires where looking good for tread too....

went on to say that when 172 drivers come in for their first service, they nearly always need new brakes and almost certainly new tires (if not already on their second set)...

Does this prove i drive like a girl? or does it show the driving styles of the 182/172 divide...

Can anyone else post their results of first service...

You must drive like a girl. Though admitedly my brakes only need doing now, (17k) but I have done 4 trackdays on this set.

my fronts where 50 % worn at 12k service...backs where 25%

I do drive like a pansy tho

they said the front & rears were both 60% worn on my service.when I looked at the service paper I thought It couldnt be right.

mine lasted well got about 36k atleast out of the fronts

I get about 6k out of front tyres, and about 18k out of front pads.

i got through pads in 15k and tyres in 15k

rear pads at 50% at 18k, rear tyres in 19k

Front tyres in 8k but I run them till 10.5k, pads were completely shagged at 17.5k and could probably have done with being changed at <15k.

41k - still on original disks but am on new pads - been through lots of boots though.

Got through my front tyres in 5.5k back need replacing now after a couple more thousand but i cant be bothered yet. Love the oversteer you get with low tread on the back. Shame it doesnt go round corners v fast atm but it makes the oversteer more easily corrected.

I got 6,000 miles out of my first set of front tyres and my pads looked about 50% worn at that point. Still not had my first service yet, its due in december but I should have only done 10,000 by then.

im on 17600 miles on the original tyres yet,but had back pads replaced after 1 cracked,dont ask i got the foggest why it happened...and yes i drive like miss daisy

I had my first service in my clio.... 40% worn.

At my second service, they were 20% worn??!

Thats reno for you - take it all with a pinch of salt.
