Wrighty.'s 172 cup

Well after venturing away from clio ownership for a while I decided I needed to scratch that annoying French itch again!
So I set out looking for a nice clean 172 cup, and after being offered Emma's car and going down and having a look at it I couldn't resist!

Not got much planned at the moment just needs tidying up in a few places. The rear bumper needs resprayed and the edges of the doors are quite scuffed apart from that it's in very good condition for a ten year old car!

Well after telling myself I wasn't going to modify it any more than it already is I just couldn't
help myself. The rear wiper needed replacing so I thought I would just get rid of the whole thing
so I whacked something together with bits I had lying around on a quiet day at work and it turned out alright.

It's far from bodyshop quality but it looks ok and serves a purpose.

Ah ok. Car looks great by the way. Has it been lowered at all? It looks like it going off the pics.

as for the rear wiper, im always using mine. Especially in this weather.

It's on bilstein b14 coilovers, it could go lower but I really don't fancy replacing the splitter

The ride is fine I use it as my daily and its not uncomfortable.

Its an awesome stance. I would say that as that's how I had it set up lol. Next on my shopping list was spacers all round. Would be an epic stance pushing the wheels out 20/25mm, hint hint

The bisteins were actually very good comfort wise running about around town etc. It was the noise that got me in the end doing 50 miles a day in it. My god it is loud lol. But, it's a special little car.

Yeh the height was setup for handling over stance. Then corner weighted although it was setup for Emma, so that'll be off a tad now

With xenons nice just bought a set for my cup, should of been standard -.-

Just a few updates, got rid of the harnesses and replaced them with a leather rear bench and also changed the cloth door
cards to Alcantara ones. Also gave the wheel bolts a coat of paint as they were looking terrible.

Then decided I wanted to refurb my calipers as they were looking a bit tatty so I bought a second hand set off here and gave them
A clean up and a fresh coat of paint, now just waiting for the new seals and pistons from http://brakeparts.co.uk and they can go on!

Managed to get a couple of hours on a mates ramp yesterday so I could fit the front calipers and change the rear pads
and discs.

plenty of meat left on that one! Probably going to put it on ebay as part worn.

Wasn't too sure about the gold on the calipers but now they're on I think it suits it.

Fitted some spacers from M.A.D today, so the wheels no longer look lost in the arches.

20mm hubcentric spacers. You actually need slightly shorter wheel bolts as the originals are a couple of mm too long for the spacers.
