I want to buy a cliosport 172 or 182 either.

so thuoght id phone round for insurances before hand (smart move lol)

Currently ive got 1.6 16v megane coupe.

fully comp insurance at £886

this is with 1 years dirivng and 1 years no claims.

Now ive phoned adrian flux about fully comp on a 172 or 182.

cheapest quote £2400 WTF

My post code is like the best, SP9 - Hampshire.

And i told them i was 19 with 2 years driving and 2 year NCB.

How can i get it down below £1500, coz i know people on here have

Dunno, got a quote from flux onilne which came to about 2 grand or something.

Called HIC and got sorted for just over 1.

Just do what I did, wait untill your 21, as they are group 16 for a reason.

IMO I wouldn't pay even a £100 a month on insurance, 1*2's aren't worth it.

have you seen whats excluded from the value policies?

no windscreen
no protected claims
no legal
no audio
no courtesy car
but worst of all, i was quoted with a compulsary £450 excess for accidents!

Thats a bargain but only because Taylor is NOT a fella!

Nerosis a friend of mine is the same age as you and he pays £1900 Third Party on a 182.
£2.4k is about right fully comp its a group 16 car.

I was going to say, some on here have cheap(er) insurance not just because of the usual stuff (ncd, age etc) they have a high excess too.

Thankfully i'm an old moany git so that bit doesn't apply to me.
